I often receive messages from ladies that are unsure about themselves... they ask me questions that stem from doubt and insecurity -- that honest belief that for whatever reason they aren't "good enough", "hot enough", or "experienced enough" for boudoir photography. Personally, I'm not surprised by this all too common assumption, but not because it's the truth (ehm,it’s bullshit!), but because it's easy and the safe route to undervalue yourself and view boudoir photography as an art form only reserved for the likes of celebrities and super models.
Like most of my clients Miss T told me she had no idea how to pose, or how to pull off those sensual glares or seductive expressions.
Every other day, I get comments such as these!
"I'm not sexy."
"I don't know how to pose."
"I'm camera shy."
"I don't even own any lingerie."
"I need to loose a few pounds."
All the insecurities you experience will disappear once you enter my studio. It's my job to pose you, to get that perfect smile, and to make sure you are having a time of your life. It's true, and it works!
Miss T opted to have her hair and makeup done at the studio by one of my talented MUA's Amber from Blended By Amber which gave her a little relaxation time before the shoot. Did I mention that a boudoir shoot it's a work out...yes you will be hurting the next day and that will be a sign that you did an amazing job with following my instructions.
Make a choice to do something that makes you feel like strong sexy woman that can take anything on. Let out your inner glow!

48h after the shoot, upon delivery of a little sneak peek I always ask my clients to fill out my post-shoot survey. The feedback helps me to not only improve myself as a photographer, but also make sure that my lovely customers are 100% satisfied with their sessions!
Here is what Miss T had to say:
What made you decide to book your boudoir session with ALOMIA instead of another studio?
I feel in love with her images on Instagram and I knew she was the one to book with...plus she was local.
How were you feeling before your shoot? Any thoughts going through your mind?
I was very excited and I've dreamed of doing this shoot for a very long time.
What was your favorite thing about your photoshoot experience?
All the different ways to get beautiful shots ?
What would you tell other ladies who are considering doing a boudoir shoot?
Get it done and show yourself how beautiful you really are. Make the time for YOU!
How did you feel after your session and did we miss anything?
I felt amazing and very girly like a MODEL!
All YOU need to do is book a session, show up, and I will do the rest!
You can bring lingerie -or- nothing at all. You may have an idea of how your boudoir session should go, especially when it comes to what you wear, how you pose and what props to use... or you can have faith and leave it in my experienced hands. I will not disappoint you, this is what I do!
My job is to make sure you look your best in all of your photos. So just be yourself and follow my directions while we are shooting. I will make sure that your images will be as beautiful as all of those you swoon over on my website.
With Miss T's express permission I am sharing some of my favorite photos from her shoot!
